"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life" ? Mary Oliver
The year is almost over and all of us have just seen almost 364 days just go by.
Those days are not coming back!
Some of us have followed the desires of our hearts and made dreams come true, others have just waited for something that may have just happen that would help make a lost passion or motivation come back.
What are you waiting for?
" life does not happen to us but we happen to life "
I have asked myself, students and clients this year "are you at cause of your life or on the event side of life" are you waiting for things to just happen or will you cause things to happen.
"Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but how we react to what happens, not by what life brings us but the attitude we bring to life."
We need to make choices and decisions in our lives that move us towards what it is that we want to see happen. Some of us believe that it is not up to us but maybe just up to God for things to happen.
My experience is that I will co-work with God to make dreams come true. Dreams and desires are healthy feelings and pro-life. When you stop dreaming and believing you are really giving up on your potential and reason for living a life with purpose.
We all have the same time.
What are you doing with your time?
I have decided that to only make myself happy is no longer enough. Even more than helping myself each day, I want to see happiness in others.
I have chosen to be committed to making 5 people happy each day, whether it is a student or a client or a friend or a passing person walking down the same path I walk. I will smile, offer a listening ear, stop judging, become curious and be available to at least 5 people everyday.
What will you ensure for your life in 2015?
How will you inspiring new life in yourself
How can you take responsibility to 'mean what you say and say what you mean"?
How will you dream and believe for greater things in your life ?
We are all motivated by either pain or pleasure and most of us are motivated by avoiding anything that causes us pain.
Ask Yourself Critical Questions:
How much is it costing you to just stay the same each year?
What are you missing out on by not taking action towards the things you know that you should do ?
How much "life time" (years and days) do you have available to you and at your disposal?
